I love to make items and then give them away. I've had many tell me to sell my artwork treasures, but I figure as long as God keeps providing me the items I need, I'll share. There is such a joy in gifting, and a satisfaction in passing on creativity by teaching. Enjoy my ideas. Acquire a generous spirit and see how God blesses you.

Lavender Sachets From Vintage Hankies
These lavender sachets are made from vintage hankies. I started by making the inside pocket with organza and stuffed it with lavender. I love that smell! Then made the outside pocket, folding it just right and putting a button on the outside. I could sew several at the same time and they made awesome gifts. I love opening a dresser drawer and seeing this lay inside.
Lavender is not just a good smell. It's known to be a calming scent that soothes the respiratory system and makes your sleep relaxing. I now put lavender in the rice bags I make. Rice bags, a wonderful idea for another page.
